Dish Blauw

A local Dutch program Wake Up Your Mind (part of VluchtelingenWerk) encourages young people from different backgrounds to come together and bring a social initiative of their choice to life. Our group organized an intercultural dinner, where invitees had the chance to cook and taste dishes from 5 cultures. For the event, I created these postcards with hand-drawn illustrations and recipes on the back. The chosen style pays homage to famous Dutch Delft blue tiles, while the corner patterns portray the culture of the dish’s country in its flag’s colors.
